Michaella Sewers, BKin
Kinesiologist, Active Rehabilitation
Meet Michaella!
I played soccer as a goalkeeper at a high level as a child/ adolescence, which lead me to multiple injuries and attending physiotherapy. Throughout my time at physio I became intrigued with the rehabilitation processes for injuries. This is when I decided to go into a Kinesiology degree after high school. I attended Capilano University for three years while I played Varsity Soccer and graduated with a Human Kinetics Diploma specialized in Exercise Science in 2014. I then transferred to UBC for two years to finish my degree in 2016, with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. Shortly after graduating from UBC, I began helping out with Concussion Baseline Testing at Strive and later transitioned into being a Kinesiologist doing Active Rehabilitation.
