Kyle McComb

Registered Physiotherapist

Kyle is a registered physiotherapist, who holds a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. Kyle’s passion for learning and drive to improve care for his clients has led him to pursue continuing education in manual therapy (Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Level 1), strength and conditioning Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), and concussion rehab (Complete Concussion Management Institute).

Kyle believes in the complimentary nature of manual therapy, exercise, and education, and is committed to creating a personalized treatment plan to get you back to your life and achieve your goals. He has experience working with clients in pain and various injuries related to car accidents, joint replacements, and everyday life. Over the years, Kyle has developed a special interest in sport and running-related injuries, shoulder injuries, and concussions.

Growing up Kyle was actively involved in basketball and soccer, before pursuing baseball at the university level for the UBC Thunderbirds. His background as an athlete and patient recovering from various injuries sparked his interest in rehab and performance. After his baseball career, Kyle went on to complete a strength and conditioning internship with the varsity sports teams at UBC and worked as a kinesiologist in the community, before transitioning to his current role as a physiotherapist. These early experiences as an athlete, coach, and clinician has helped him to better understand the full picture in transitioning his clients from injury to functioning at their best.

Outside of the clinic, Kyle enjoys an active lifestyle including running, cycling, and spending time outdoors.
