Kris McCrea
Kinesologist/Active Rehab
Meet Kris!
Kris was born in Comox, BC but raised in the Tri-Cities. He was involved in many sports, but it was volleyball that became his passion. He represented Canada at the 19U World Beach Volleyball Championship in 2013 and played for the UBC Okanagan men's volleyball team for 2 years, but eventually Kris' injuries caught up to him and he decided to focus on finishing his Kinesiology degree and rehabilitating the injuries he developed over his 10 year volleyball career. Through his degree, Kris cultivated an immense interest in the biomechanics of human movement, as well as a passion for coaching. From that, a desire emerged to work as a Kinesiologist to help others achieve their rehabilitation and training goals.
What to expect during your session
Kris personalizes his sessions to his clients' abilities, goals, and level of experience. When treating, he takes a holistic approach by helping clients train their muscles to work together to perform a movement rather than as individual parts.
