Meet Katie!

Katie was born and raised in the Okanagan where she participated in a variety of sports including competitive soccer, basketball, and volleyball. She was actively involved with the club volleyball and Volleyball Canada Centre of Excellence programs as both a coach and trainer. Through these athletic endeavors and her own personal injury experience Katie came to appreciate the value in proper injury prevention and rehabilitation, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Her journey began at College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, BC, where she completed a Diploma of Kinesiology while playing for the women’s volleyball team. She then went on to complete a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBC Okanagan, and finally, her Masters of Physical Therapy at UBC Vancouver.
