Lacey Forsyth

Lacey graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy Program from the University of British Columbia, after completing her Master of Arts Degree from Simon Fraser University in 2010 and receiving an Honours Bachelor degree from UBC in Sociology and Psychology in 2007.

Lacey started her career in public practice and has experience treating patients with chronic health conditions, neurological conditions, pre-and post-natal care, pediatrics, surgical rehabilitation and orthopedic injuries. In private practice, her focus is musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, biomechanical limitations and injury prevention and education. She is also an active Volunteer with Coquitlam Metro Ford Soccer Club assisting young, developing athletes with injury prevention strategies, education, and helping them recover from injury and return to sport as quickly as possible.

Lacey’s post graduate courses include:

  • Acupuncture Canada CAFCI certification
  • CPA Orthopedic Levels- Level 2 Lower
  • Neurokinetic Therapy Level 1 September 2016

Lacey’s individualized treatment approach combines soft tissue techniques, manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture and client education to keep you active throughout your recovery and to help prevent future injury.

Outside of the office, Lacey remains active by trail running with her dog Holly, gardening, and playing with her 2 young boys when not on the field with them!
