Katie was born and raised in the Okanagan where she participated in a variety of sports including
competitive soccer, basketball, and volleyball. She was also actively involved with the club volleyball and

Her journey began at College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, BC, where she completed a Diploma of
Kinesiology while playing for the women’s volleyball team. She then went on to complete a Bachelor of

Since graduating, Katie has completed Level 1 courses with the Canadian Division of Orthopaedic
